Introducing the new electric Grandland!
The Vauxhall vizor featuring a light up badge and 3D illuminated vizor for the first time, the compass design at the front, rear vertical brake lights and the light up VAUXHALL branding at the rear are some of the highlights of Vauxhall’s bold and pure design language on New Grandland.
The New Grandland will be the biggest vehicle in the Vauxhall range, at almost 20cm longer than the current Grandland, with 20mm of extra rear leg room and an extra 36 litres of boot space. Making the car a very spacious SUV, perfectly suited to families.
Despite being very spacious, it remains an incredibly stylish vehicle, with 20“diamond-cut alloys, panoramic sunroof, rear privacy glass, the 3D illuminated vizor & illuminated brand bar plus the compass brake lights. As part of the Vauxhalls’ greenovation strategy the car features a chrome-free exterior for better efficiency and less environmental impact.
New Grandland also introduces two new colours to the palate, Impact Copper and Spectrum Blue giving New Grandland a very premium look.
Pure Energy
New Grandland is fully electrified thanks to the Stellantis multi-energy platform. It is available as both a Hybrid and a fully electric version. The New Grandland Electric launches with a new 73kW battery, with a 157kW electric motor producing 345Nm of torque. With a range of up to 325 miles from a single charge and rapid charging giving 80% charge in 26 minutes, it alleviates range anxiety, allowing customers to feel more at ease with the switch to electric. The new battery delivers a power output of 210PS with multiple driving modes available to suit all driving styles. This new battery will be available across all trims – Design, GS and Ultimate. In 2025 we will also introduce a 98kWh battery with an electric range of up to 435 miles!
Alternatively, we will also be launching a mild hybrid version of New Grandland that will be available in a 136PS with a dual-clutch automatic gearbox. This engine will offer an entry into our electrified range as we continue with our commitment to offer electric mobility to all. We can expect to see a 19g CO2 saving compared to the current Grandland automatic and an anticipated fuel saving of 5.8 mpg. Again, the mild hybrid version will be available on all trim levels, catering to everyone’s needs and preferences.
New Grandland doesn’t compromise on tech and will offer a pure cockpit experience and detoxed interior, allowing the driver to stay fully engaged. The New Grandland has a 16” multimedia touchscreen with navigation and 10” digital instrument cluster, with pure panel display and physical buttons for improved functionality, allowing for a more user-friendly experience.
The heads-up display projects essential driving information onto the windscreen, allowing drivers to view information without taking their eyes from the road. The driver can customise the information they wish to see using the widgets on the centre display. To further improve driver focus and safety, pure mode can be activated to remove any unnecessary distractions. Once pure mode is enabled only the most essential driving information will be displayed on the centre screen, cluster or the heads-up display.
Ultimate also features a premium hi-fi system from Focal as standard, with 10 new generation speakers, a new subwoofer and re-enforced amplification. Whatever is on your playlist will be crystal clear.
Wireless phone projection, compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is standard, as well as features such as built in Chat GPT. The New Grandland is complete with wireless charging and the brand-new wireless charging area (pixel box), which is an illuminated translucid glass and fabric wrapped storage box, containing the wireless charger. Once the pixel box is closed it blacks out so the driver cannot see their phone, eliminating distractions. However, once the driver parks up or turns their car off the pixel box will light back up so that the driver’s phone doesn’t get left behind.
New seat cloth designs have been introduced and the steering wheel gets a design update. The seat trims are 100% vegan and will be made with sustainable materials (PET), as part of Vauxhall’s greenovation strategy. Recycled fabrics will also be used on the upper door and dashboard console.
Pure Sense
New Grandlands comes with a raft of advanced driver assistance features. As you would expect, the New Grandland comes with adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition and more.
New Grandland parking assistance features consist of front & rear parking sensors as standard across all trims, with a rear-view camera standard on GS and a 360o camera standard on Ultimate.
At the top of the range, intelli-drive 2.0 offers the best solution for semi-autonomous driving in the segment. Under certain driving conditions, the radar systems, sensors, cameras and e-horizon all work together to steer the vehicle into the intended lane.
Finally, the New Grandland will come with the most advanced lighting technology within the segment. New Grandland comes with Pixel Matrix Intellilux headlights, consisting of over 51,000 LED pixels. To put this into perspective the current Vauxhall Matrix pixel headlights only have 168 pixels. The new Intellilux headlights enable seamless glare-free driving, lighting up the road clearly without dazzling other drivers, allowing for safer driving, quicker reactions and greater visibility. Furthermore, it comes with a welcome and goodbye animation.
